Christian Science is based on the life, teachings, and works of Christ Jesus. The Bible is its sacred scriptural authority, revealing the love of “one supreme and infinite God” for all. It should not be confused with Scientology or Science of Mind. Discovered in 1866 by Mary Baker Eddy, Christian Science is recognized by the National Council of the Churches of Christ USA, is a member of their Convening Tables, and participates in their annual Christian Unity Gathering.
